International medical repatriation: one coordinated transfer

When a family member needs medical transport between countries, the journey involves more than a flight. Repatriation Antalya acts as an international intermediary and coordinator, bringing together the transport providers, medical professionals and destination contacts needed for the agreed journey. You can contact us directly as a family; the transfer does not have to start or end in Turkey.

WhatsApp opens a conversation. Your request is sent only after you press Send in WhatsApp.

What we coordinate

The scope is agreed for your case. It may include contact with the sending and receiving facilities, a medical transport provider, the flight arrangements and ground transfers at departure and arrival. Ask for the complete pickup and destination plan, including who is responsible for each part of the journey.

Flights and medical care are performed by the appointed operators and healthcare providers. The clinical decisions belong to the responsible medical professionals. Our role is to coordinate the agreed services and communication.

Four transport options to discuss

  • Air ambulance: a dedicated medical flight supplied by a contracted operator.
  • Medical escort: coordination of a doctor or nurse travelling with the patient on a commercial flight.
  • Commercial flight stretcher: coordination of lying-down transport with an airline and medical escort, subject to the relevant approvals and availability.
  • Bed-to-bed transfer: a coordinated chain between the pickup and receiving location; the flight method and ground services are agreed separately.

These are options to discuss, rather than a way for a family to decide medical suitability online. The responsible medical team and transport provider assess the proposed journey.

From the first conversation to the handover

  1. Initial enquiry: tell us the departure country and city, destination and the support you are seeking.
  2. Case review: we agree how relevant information will be shared with the responsible professionals and providers.
  3. Transport planning: the proposed route, receiving arrangements and required approvals are clarified.
  4. Written quote: you receive the proposed scope and price before booking.
  5. Coordination: pickup, travel segments and destination handover are planned with the appointed parties.

Timing depends on the route, available providers and approvals. Ask which arrangements are confirmed and which remain provisional before committing.

What to check in the quote

A useful comparison covers the whole agreed journey. Check the pickup and destination, flight type, ground transfers, medical escort arrangements, included services, exclusions and booking conditions. Clarify what happens if the date or transport plan changes.

There is no universal price for international repatriation. Route, transport model, staffing, logistics and the required support affect the offer. Insurance cover and payment approval depend on your own policy and insurer; a quotation is not confirmation of cover.

A simple first message

You can start with the departure city and country, destination city and country, your contact details and whether you are enquiring for yourself or a family member. We can then explain the next information needed. Share medical documents only through a channel agreed for that purpose.

Do not include confidential medical details in a public comment or review.

Questions from families

Can I contact you directly without an insurer?

Yes. Patients and families can contact us directly to discuss an international transfer and request a written quote.

Does the journey have to involve Turkey?

No. We coordinate medical repatriation between countries worldwide. A particular route still depends on available providers and the necessary approvals.

Do you operate the aircraft?

No. Repatriation Antalya is an international intermediary and coordinator. Aircraft are operated by the appointed flight providers.

Is every quotation a complete bed-to-bed transfer?

The agreed scope determines what is included. Check ground transfers, pickup, destination and handover arrangements in the written quote.

Is this the service for transporting a deceased person?

No. International repatriation of deceased persons is a separate coordination service. Contact us with that request so it can follow the appropriate process.

We are an international intermediary and coordinator for patients and families. Flights and medical care are supplied by the contracted transport operators and medical providers; we do not operate aircraft ourselves.
